Those are designated areas in any country that are named to have their own political and fiscal independencies. For example in USA, there are states, counties, cities, districts. In Japan, there are prefectures, cities, districts. In Russia, there republic, kray, oblast, gorod, raion. These are just examples of how a search can be performed within Nash OS by searching not just zip codes or distance from zip codes or by smallest parts of states and counties.
