What is the database indexer in the admin panel of YSP? How do i use it?
Another feature in YSP that helps you in speeding up your auction site db requests - is a Database Indexer - by clicking on it in the admin panel - the DB Indexer will run and create indexes for several major db tables - once done the db calls will be organized into indexes to allow the quicker access to specified data from the db queries that constantly run from the user end - an average speed improvement of 25-40% has been generally noticed on sites that have been indexed - TIP: If a window times-out or goes blank during process, just close it. The indexer will index your database anyway.
